The Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence

Jennifer Bandier continues to demonstrate a deep and enduring commitment to Caron’s mission through her dedicated service and as one of the founding board members of The Neil Lasher Music Fund. Additionally, as the founder of BANDIER, a luxury activewear brand, she shares a passion and focus on empowering women, and has inspired countless individuals through her mentoring and advocacy.

The Thomas J. Moran Caron Music Award

Angelina and Monte Lipman

Dr. Angelina and Monte Lipman will receive the Thomas J. Moran Caron Music Award. Monte is an acclaimed record executive, philanthropist, and founding board member of The Neil Lasher Music Fund. Monte is the founder of Republic Records and now leads Universal Music Group's East Coast Collective of labels including Island Records, Def Jam Recordings and Mercury Records among others. Dr. Angelina Lipman is a social personality psychologist with degrees from Columbia University and New York University. She is an author, lecturer, and former Columbia Business School Professor. Together they are substantially involved in charitable work and are renowned philanthropists. Their unwavering dedication to giving back, exemplifies the profound impact the Lipmans have on countless lives.

Caron Treatment Centers is an internationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through addiction and behavioral healthcare treatment, research, prevention, and addiction medicine education. During its almost 70 years, Caron has helped thousands of individuals struggling with behavioral health issues, including substance use disorder, begin to manage these brain diseases, and find hope. Anchored by two medical centers on its Pennsylvania and Florida campuses and headquartered in Wernersville, Pennsylvania, Caron uses a Neurorestorative Approach to provides a comprehensive continuum of care for teens through adults including medical stabilization and detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs, as well as Recovery support, family, and alumni services. Caron also provides concierge signature treatment for executives, healthcare professionals and older adults. In addition to our Pennsylvania and Florida campuses, Caron provides services in Wyomissing, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and New York City. Caron accepts several major insurance plans and provides financial assistance for those who qualify.

Funds raised at the gala will support program delivery and expansion and support more patients throughout Caron’s continuum of care through unique services offered for young adults, women, men, and older adults and their families. Caron's New York Recovery Center offers screening and education, early recovery support groups and family engagement, provides a healthy environment for alumni activities and holds Parent Support Groups throughout the New York Region.
