Third Annual Women to Women Retreat
“One of the most beautiful sounds that I have ever heard is the sound of a beautiful, strong woman’s voice once she has discovered her true worth. She sounds empowered… she sounds confident… but most of all… she sounds free.” -Unknown

We are pleased to host our third annual Women to Women Retreat, dedicated to the unique strengths and challenges of being a woman in recovery. Recovery is an ongoing journey—one that invites continuous self-exploration, growth, and renewal. No matter where you are on this path, or what you are recovering from, all are welcome.

This year’s retreat focuses on embracing your authentic self and confidently expressing your needs, boundaries, and desires—a vital part of the recovery process. Through guided discussions and experiential activities, we will explore how to cultivate inner strength, speak our truth, and fully step into our authentic selves.

What to Expect

Our day begins with lunch alongside Caron leadership and community leaders at the McGlinn Conference and Spirituality Center, Alvernia University, Reading, PA, offering an opportunity for meaningful conversation and shared inspiration.

  • A dynamic keynote speaker will set the tone for a day of reflection, growth, and empowerment.
  • A guided meditation will help us set our intentions for the day ahead.
  • Interactive workshops and breakout sessions will provide hands-on opportunities to strengthen self-advocacy skills and empower personal expression.

Central Session: The Role of Self-Advocacy in Recovery

Together, we will reflect on meaningful questions, including:

  • How can I use my voice to advocate for myself?
  • What does self-empowerment look like in my recovery journey?
  • How can I set healthy boundaries while staying true to myself?

Our work will continue through experiential activities that support overall well-being:

  • Mindfulness exercises to cultivate presence, self-awareness, and emotional balance.
  • Expressive arts to support cognitive and emotional healing.
