An intervention requires careful planning by the loved ones of the person at the center of the intervention. Planning should happen well before the intervention to determine who should be present and what issues should be addressed. The intervention team should then recruit a mental health professional to guide them through the process.

Parent and Family Support Groups
The Caron Parent and Family Groups are designed to meet the needs of those with loved ones who are currently in treatment, are using alcohol and/or drugs in a problematic manner, or are in recovery. Our mission is to help ourselves and in turn help others whose loved ones are struggling with addiction. The purpose of these groups is to provide family members a confidential, safe place to find support, education, encouragement, and hope on their own path to lifelong recovery. All 18 years and older are welcome!
