Adam Brecht serves as a bridge between Caron and New York City’s philanthropic community, galvanizing support for Caron. As a visible presence in several arenas, including Wall Street, public affairs, and philanthropy, Adam communicates Caron’s dedication to clinical expertise and transformative treatment across a range of communities.
Adam is passionate about Caron’s mission, particularly its commitment to restoring health, lives, and relationships. He has been active in fundraising and philanthropy for 20 years, beginning with his effort to save eight New York City firehouses from closure.
Prior to taking on his role at Caron in 2024, Adam worked in senior leadership roles in business, finance, and education, including at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which confers EMMY Awards. He currently serves as trustee for the Margaret Brecht Family Trust. He began his career as a staff member in the U.S. Senate.
He is a member of the Economic Club of New York and the Greenwich Polo Club in Connecticut. Adam has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from New York University.
