Alisa Heralall
Florida
As a neurofeedback technician, Alisa Heralall uses neurofeedback therapy and brain mapping to help people better understand how their brain functions and to train the brain to restore optimal brain functioning.
She administers electroencephalograms (EEG) to measure the brain's electrical activity. This procedure allows the patient’s clinical team to create a plan that includes neurofeedback therapy, which Alisa also administers.
Alisa came to Caron with four years of experience as a neurofeedback technician and three years of experience as an EEG technician. In those roles, she administered EEGs to help substance use and mental health patients train their brains to function more healthily and to help people who had had strokes or seizures as part of their medical therapy.
She is certified in Braincore with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and an Associate of Arts in Health Sciences from Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida.
