Betsy Auray

She is responsible for maintaining the high quality of the programs and support services offered at the Center and building relationships with patients, families, and referents. Betsy supervises special projects, implements the strategic plan, and coordinates promotional/marketing activities and staff development, and is part of Caron's development team.

In addition to her role in the New York office, Betsy serves both New York and Connecticut with regional resources to provide information and answers as well as assist referents, patients and families with admissions to Caron Treatment Centers.

Prior to taking on this role in 2021, Betsy was a marriage and family therapist, with her own practice and a specialty in working with families affected by addiction. She is trained in post-modern systems theory and took a solution-focused approach to her work, using a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet clients’ needs.

She has also worked in both sales and marketing for a prominent cosmetics company as well as corporate communications for a Fortune 500 company. She looks forward to synthesizing her therapeutic and sales and communication experience to strengthen and expand services and programs at the Caron New York City Recovery Center.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in marriage and family therapy. She is a licensed family and marriage therapist.
