David Lazar

David Lazar is responsible for advancing Caron’s fundraising efforts in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including coordination and execution of key events and continued development and growth of the DC Regional Advisory Board.

David has held this position since 2024. As an active Caron alumnus, David aligns his experience in developing growth strategies and his passion for addiction treatment and recovery. Prior to taking on this role, he worked in digital advertising as a sales director for one of the world's largest media holding companies, Omnicom Group. He was responsible for growing existing relationships with household consumer brands.

Earlier in his career, David was as a legislative staff member on Capitol Hill for the House Judiciary Committee, responsible for legislation covering immigration, reproductive rights, health care, and sentencing guidelines.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies and Spanish from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.
