Kate Black

As an ambassador for Caron, Kate uses her extensive experience in behavioral healthcare to assist potential patients, families, referents, medical and behavioral health professionals, and others in the community to understand the importance of treatment. She offers resources, information, and knowledge to get people into treatment and on the road to recovery.

Kate has been in the behavioral healthcare field for over 15 years, giving her a network of resources and an in-depth knowledge of the communities in which she has worked. She believes that mental health and substance use disorders need to be addressed through education, awareness, and comprehensive treatment.

Having experienced the effects of substance use disorder in her own family, Kate is passionate about educating and working with people to get the help they need. She is committed to bringing professional, caring people together to ensure those with substance use disorder have access to high-quality treatment.
