Kayla Condida

Kayla Condida provides individual and group counseling and psychoeducation for patients in the Older Adult Program. She uses her experience, training, and education to help patients work through a range of issues in order to build their strength, confidence, and resilience, critical components of a healthy recovery.

Before taking on this role in 2025, Kayla was a recovery advocate at Caron for four and a half years. She supported patients, deescalated crises, managed conflicts, and helped patients regulate their moods and emotions. She worked in all of Caron’s programs with men, women, older adults, teens, and young adults.

Kayla was a group supervisor art at a daycare for five years before coming to Caron. She learned to better understand children’s needs, gauge situations to respond appropriately and work with various types of children. That experience gave her an understanding of how to best work with all types of people.

She is a national certified counselor and a certified allied addiction practitioner. Kayla has a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Messiah University and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Human Services with a minor in Special Education from Penn State.
