Kristofer Salomonsen is a Behavioral Health Therapist in Men's Program, providing individual and group therapy, family counseling, case management, and education for young men in the program.
He brings both compassion and a willingness to challenge his patients to his work, offering a confidential space for them to do the necessary work of treatment that is the foundation of a life in recovery.
Prior to taking on his current position in 2016, Kris was a senior clinical admissions specialist and previously was an addictions counselor. He has been employed by Caron since 2005. With years of valuable prior experience, his work includes partial hospital program residential treatment facility for court-adjudicated adolescent males with substance use disorder and a partial hospital program for dual diagnosed patients.
Kris has a Master of Arts in counseling from Rosemont University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Kings College.
