Kristin Speleos
MSW
Pennsylvania
As an associate behavioral health therapist, Kristin Speleos provides individual and group therapy, psychoeducation, and case management across Caron’s women’s programs, including teens, young adults, and adult women.
Kristin took on her role in 2024. She came to Caron to do a graduate practicum and then an internship, also working in the women’s programs. The experience she gained by observing during the practicum and doing assessments and group co-facilitation during her internship gave her a foundation of Caron knowledge and experience. The team approach employed by Caron is one Kristin appreciates because it benefits all patients and has given her the confidence that her therapeutic approach is reliable and informed by her colleagues.
Kristin’s professional background includes two years of work as a domestic violence specialist at a nonprofit organization. As lead peer support for people seeking services, she helped her clients create safety plans and connected them to community resources. Kristin also created and facilitated two trauma-informed support groups.
Kristin is currently in a graduate program for clinical mental health counseling through Prescott College, Prescott, Arizona. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia.
