Laura Rudy

Laura works with patients to understand the continuing care options available to them, their importance to a healthy and sustainable recovery, and how to choose the one that is best for them. She also works with their family members to provide guidance, resources, support, and an understanding of how critical aftercare is in the recovery journey.

Another facet of her work is to build relationships with staff at continuing care facilities and stay informed about the range of options available to the patients and families she works with. She researches and finds resources for patients and family members in their home communities.

Her personal and professional experience with substance use disorder and recovery enables Laura to offer empathy, compassion, and understanding to patients, meeting each one where they are and helping them build a foundation for a healthy and sustainable recovery.

Before taking on this role in 2024, Laura was a behavioral health technician at Caron for four years, supporting and assisting patients in various programs. Prior to coming to Caron, she was a residential specialist for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
