Manuel Garcia

He provides clinical leadership and oversees programming and its development. Most importantly, he supports the clinical team to assure that they can deliver evidence-based, high-quality treatment to assist patients and their families to get well and move into their lives in recovery. Manuel relies on a humanistic, servant leadership approach to engage his staff to provide compassionate, dedicated support to patients and their families.

Manuel brings more than a decade of experience working with a variety of patient populations. His experience includes developing programming targeted to patient needs and providing leadership that fosters open communication and accountability. He has created and launched outpatient programs and services that enabled more people to access care, including a professionals track and Spanish and weekend services. He balances a dedication to high quality care with meeting financial objectives and ensuring that programs meet state and organizational standards of excellence.

He is a member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Belonging Advisory Board for the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers. He has had extensive media and presentation experience that includes hosting a radio show in Minnesota and appearing on and hosting a YouTube and podcast series that dealt with various topics related to addiction treatment.

Manuel is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor with a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies, Center City, Minnesota. He has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Universidad Anahuac Mexico Norte, Mexico City, Mexico. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
