Maxwell Fiedel

Max Fiedel's role is to tell Caron's story to inspire and motivate alumni and potential donors to support Caron's mission and advance its work to make transformative treatment available to all who need it. He does this by engaging alumni and donors, leading and coordinating signature fundraising events in New York City, and managing and growing the New York City Advisory Board.

Max began in this role in 2024, bringing a personal and professional passion for inspiring and persuading others to make a difference and work together to support a worthy cause. He enjoys teamwork and puts his experience to work to unite the team to achieve common goals.

Max worked for three years for a consumer package goods company that creates healthy vegan food products before coming to Caron. He led an operations team in New York City to work across functions to understand others’ skills and roles in order to take on new projects and products. This role allowed him to build and expand his skills at building relationships and forming bonds that enable a team of people to work together. Prior to that position, Max was the senior manager of U.S. product supply, having come into the company as a senior contract manufacturing manager.

As a Caron alumnus and scholarship recipient, Max also brings with him a devotion to Caron and 10 years of volunteer work that includes the honor of being named Alumni of the Year in 2022. He has been a campus speaker for eight years, on the National Alumni Leadership Council for four years, and on the New York City Advisory Board for three years. He also helped to create the first New York City alumni fellowship meeting on Zoom and assisted in creating a similar Zoom fellowship meeting for alumni in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
