Melinda Castro
MA, LPC, CAADC
Pennsylvania
Melinda Castro is a family therapist for Relapse Men's and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Caron Pennsylvania. In her role, she works with patients and families to better understand their family systems and improve their communications and relationships.
By opening up the space they need to better understand themselves and their relationships, she helps them gain insight into how they can improve those relationships and the family system overall. Seeing those “aha” discovery moments occur and the resulting changes that take place is what she loves most about her job.
Melinda began working at Caron in 2019 and brings more than 19 years of therapy experience to her role. Before coming to Caron, she served families, couples, individuals, and children in a variety of roles, including as director of program administration at a children’s group home. Some of her work included family restructuring in families’ homes and community and residential programs. In addition, she has experience in program development, leadership development, and business development.
She earned her master’s degree in marital and family therapy from Kutztown University.
