Missy Doris
Neurofeedback Technician
Atlanta

Missy Doris is an experienced neurofeedback technician responsible for managing and administering brain mapping (QEEG), Alpha-Stim cranial electrotherapy stimulation, and neurofeedback training. In this role, she conducts initial assessments, sets up and maintains electroencephalography (EEG) equipment, and prepares detailed reports for review with the clinical team. Missy collaborates closely with the team to create personalized treatment plans and protocols, ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Missy is passionate about educating and guiding patients through neurotherapy. She begins by thoroughly explaining each process to ensure patients feel informed and comfortable, offering compassionate support every step of the way. She closely tracks each patient's progress, adjusting protocols to meet individual goals. Her dedication stems from a deep belief in the brain’s ability to heal itself—a conviction reinforced by witnessing the profound impact neurotherapy has had on her own family and numerous patients she has previously supported.

Prior to joining Caron in 2024, Missy had over four years of experience as a neurofeedback technician at another outpatient addiction treatment center. Her extensive hands-on experience, along with mentorship from top experts in the neurotherapy field, has given her a deep understanding of brain mapping and neurofeedback techniques. She is pursuing certifications in QEEG and neurofeedback, further enhancing her expertise and commitment to providing the highest quality of care.

In addition to her neurotherapeutic expertise, Missy brings over 20 years of diverse experience in healthcare, education, and ministry. Her background includes working with physicians, maintaining patient records, managing a dental office, leading a family business, and directing a before-and-after school program for children and young teens. She also served as a children’s minister at a large church. Her broad experience has equipped her with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, which she applies when supporting patients on their neurotherapy journey.
