As a lead recovery advocate, Nicole Gudz supervises a team of recovery advocates who assist and support patients, maintain safety, and resolve crises. In this role, she creates schedules, provides training, fulfills administrative duties, and acts as a liaison between the clinical team and the recovery advocates.

Her job requires attention to detail, the ability to stay calm in hectic and stressful situations, and the skill to assess her team's strengths. Nicole’s 15 years of experience at Caron as a recovery advocate and recovery advocate administrator have strengthened her leadership skills.

Nicole admires the work patients and the clinical team do to move patients toward healthy and sustainable recovery and enjoys seeing alumni return with fulfilling lives and a renewed sense of purpose.

Nicole is a certified recovery residence administrator with an associate degree in human services from Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
