Ross Peet

Ross Peet is the regional resource director for New York State.

He is at the forefront of providing vital support and guidance to individuals and families during some of their most challenging moments. As the regional resource director, Ross is dedicated to informing those in need about Caron's comprehensive programs and services addressing substance use disorders and mental health challenges. His role is pivotal in steering patients and their families through the intricacies of the treatment process, ensuring they receive the best-suited options for ongoing care and recovery support.

Ross has been involved with addiction and recovery his entire life and is a firm believer that while addiction may run in the family, so can recovery. He got sober in his youth in the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous, and his time in recovery has given him a deep understanding of the needs of people struggling with all forms of addiction. He approaches each situation with empathy, understanding, and knowledge gained through his decades of experience as a sober man. In his professional and personal life, he understands the importance of navigating difficult times and treating people with kindness, empathy, and humility.

Before diving into his role at Caron in 2023, Ross spent nearly three decades in the financial industry. And while that might seem worlds apart, it allowed him to connect with people and understand their needs—skills he leans on heavily today. He's built a reputation as someone you can trust who genuinely wants to help.

Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

He can be reached at RPeet@caron.org or 917-885-0302.
