Sam came to Caron in 2023 with considerable experience in the addiction/detox treatment field, having worked in treatment centers since 2011. In addition to more than eight years of supervisory experience as nurse manager or director of nursing, she has opened up three detox units. That extensive experience has given her detailed knowledge of compliance and licensing as well as the ability to create and maintain a supportive and rewarding culture for her staff.

She has a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida.
