Stephen Brennan serves as the recovery advocate supervisor for Caron Florida, a role he assumed in 2024. In this capacity, he supervises and manages staff, addresses the needs of patients and their families, handles administrative duties, and collaborates with clinical leadership.

Stephen began his journey at Caron in 2012 as a recovery advocate. He subsequently progressed to leadership roles, first as a lead recovery advocate, and then as a recovery advocate administrator for the Ocean Drive Program. Across roles, Stephen is known for his openness, transparency, and willingness to listen to patients and his teams.

Before joining Caron, Stephen worked for nine years with children on the autism spectrum or with learning disabilities. This experience in helping children overcome obstacles and achieve academic success enhanced his ability to support Caron patients in overcoming their own challenges. Additionally, these experiences honed his skills in recognizing broader pictures of progress and achievement, which he now utilizes with patients and families as they progress through treatment.

Stephen is a certified recovery residence administrator and holds an associate degree in early childhood education.
