Vicki Stanbury is committed to her role as a clinical admissions specialist through her belief that patients and families can recover and heal together and her belief in Caron’s mission and excellence.
She began working at Renaissance Institute of Palm Beach in January 2000 and has held positions as office support staff, resident manager, primary therapist, career services therapist, as well as creating, implementing, and contributing to Caron Renaissance’s vocational program and professional track program.
She previously worked with troubled teens at Starr Commonwealth Home for Boys in Michigan and with mentally ill youth at Midwest Children’s Home in Colorado. She taught ESL and vocational skills for refugees at the New York Association for New Americans in New York City and Language Arts to middle school students at Henderson, Florida Atlantic University’s lab school. She has her bachelor’s degree from Albion College and a master’s degree in education from Florida Atlantic University.
