CELEBRATION DETAILS

Dear Friends of Caron

Please join us in supporting the 2025 Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence celebration on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Reading, PA. On this evening, Caron will celebrate its long history of transforming lives. Caron is committed to delivering a fulfilling life beyond addiction to those in need through life-changing care and innovation. Caron is where the science of treatment meets the heart of care.

This year’s honorees for the prestigious Award of Excellence are Diane and Michael Duff, our long-time friends and well-known community leaders. Diane and Michael personify the dinner’s theme: A Community of Hope. They both serve on the Caron Greater PA Regional Advisory Board. In addition, their work in Berks County and nearby communities has made it possible for organizations such as United Way of Berks County, John Paul II Center for Special Learning, the Diocese of Allentown, Alvernia University, and Penn State Health St. Joseph Regional Health Network, among others, to deliver quality services and hope to their constituents.

Caron also recognizes Benchmark Construction with the 2025 Partner in Recovery Award. Benchmark Construction is generous to Caron and to organizations in the local communities. The company and its leaders have consistently supported offering Caron’s Peak Performance, the prevention program for athletes, to school districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. In addition, Benchmark led the construction of the Fran & Doug Tieman Research Center and the Neag Medical Center on Caron’s Wernersville campus and The Keele Center on Caron’s Florida campus.

Funds raised at the celebration will provide life-saving scholarships, programmatic support, and clinical advancement, furthering Caron’s mission of providing transformational care and delivering recovery for life from substance use disorder.

We invite you to help us reach the goal of assisting as many families as possible by becoming an event sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities are described in the following pages.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading PA. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
