Program Highlights

Affordable, empathetic, evidence-based, treatment for you and your family is available with Caron’s adult residential treatment program on our Florida campus. In this residential program for adults age 18 and older, an expert team of clinicians and other care providers work together to address substance use disorder along with co-occurring disorders.


Your treatment progresses based on your needs. Caron’s goal is to maximize your care so that you have a stable foundation for recovery. Your family also receives support and education because treating the whole family ensures stable, healthy recovery for everyone.


Our comprehensive neurocognitive approach integrates advanced technologies targeting the brain alongside traditional, evidence-based therapy modalities, capitalizing on neuroplasticity to rewire the brain, optimize function, and aid and advance the body’s natural ability to heal itself – creating a foundation for self-regulation and resilience.

Treatment Program Details

Assessment/Intake

  • Medical detoxification, if needed, in a state-of-the art medical center staffed by full-time, experienced medical professionals
  • Thorough psychosocial assessment with an evaluation of addiction and mental health symptoms

Treatment and Therapies

  • Personalized treatment plan that includes treatment of co-occurring disorders
  • Master’s level primary and family therapists
  • Individual counseling
  • Therapist-led groups to address key issues that block recovery
  • Evidence-based modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction
  • Daily peer-led 12-step meetings that patients are encouraged to attend
  • Specialty groups as clinically indicated to address issues such as trauma and grief and loss among others
  • Neurotherapy services, as clinically indicated
  • Visits from family on Saturdays and Sundays, as clinically indicated
  • Gender-separate living quarters

Family Support

  • A family program offering virtual education on substance use and mental health disorders, recovery programs, relapse, and guidance on healthy coping skills, effective boundaries, communication, and self-care
  • Age-specific education and counseling for youth ages 7-17 through the Youth Education Program
