Caron Treatment Centers Announces Corporate Board Appointments

Leading addiction treatment non-for-profit confirms 2018 board appointments

Wernersville, PA. July 5 – - Caron Treatment Centers, a leading and nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of addiction treatment and behavioral health services has appointed three new board members to its Corporate Board of Trustees. Effective July 1, Dennis Leibowitz, Zac Clark, and Kevin Beebe joined the corporate board. Board members Howard Kympton and Denise LeFrak Calicchio are transitioning off the board.

Zac Clark is a Caron alum and the co-owner of Release Recovery, a sober living and recovery services organization that services Westchester County and New York City. Zac is a member of Caron’s New York Regional Advisory Board and chairs Caron’s National Alumni Leadership Council. He regularly speaks with patients, sharing his experience, strength and hope. Additionally, for the past four years, Zac has led a New York Marathon team dedicated to generating significant contributions to Caron’s scholarship fund. He attended York College in Pennsylvania and lives in New York City.

Dennis Leibowitz has been an advocate for Caron through the years, participating in capital campaigns and spearheading engagement with the New York Gala. Dennis is a prior recipient of the Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence, a member of the New York Regional Advisory Board and a member of Caron’s New York Executive Committee. He attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce in Philadelphia and is the managing partner for Act II Partners, a private hedge fund. He resides in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Since November 2007, Kevin L. Beebe has been President and Chief Executive Officer of 2BPartners, LLC, a partnership that provides strategic, financial and operational advice to private equity firms and companies in the technology and telecom industries. He is also a founding partner in Astra Capital, a private equity firm focused on mid-market tech/telecom investment opportunities. Kevin currently Chairs Caron’s Florida Advisory Board and is also on the Naples Community Hospital Board of Trustees. His wife Cortney is the Chairperson of Caron’s Florida Medical Center Capital Campaign. Together they are leading efforts to expand services for more patients and families in Caron’s Florida continuum. Kevin attended Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and received a Master of Arts in Economics from Bowling Green University in Ohio. He also completed the Executive Business Administration Program at Columbia University in New York. Kevin and Cortney reside in Naples, Florida.
