Caron Treatment Centers Announces 2023 Corporate Board Appointments
Wernersville, PA – July 13, 2022 - Caron Treatment Centers, a leading, internationally recognized not-for-profit dedicated to addiction and behavioral healthcare treatment, research, prevention, and addiction medicine education, appointed Anne Banville and Marguerite Schroeder to its Corporate Board of Trustees and Hon. Judge Eric Davis as the Chair of the Greater Philadelphia Regional Advisory Board, effective July 1st.
Anne Banville has dedicated 41 years of service to fostering awareness about addiction, treatment and recovery, as well as raising substantial funds for access to treatment at Caron. A 1981 Caron alumna, she has generously donated her time and talents to Caron as an accomplished writer, strategist, public relations expert, and business owner. During this time, she has led Caron’s Washington D.C. Regional Advisory Board, served on several Caron committees, chaired multiple Caron D.C. galas, and functioned as an advisor on relevant topics.
Marguerite Schroeder was the first woman to chair the Greater Philadelphia Regional Advisory Board. She is a Caron and Breakthrough alumna, volunteer, donor, Chit Chat Society member and National Alumni Leadership Council member. She also serves on multiple Caron committees. Schroeder worked as a public educator for 29 years. For the past 19 years, she has been a lawyer with the New Jersey Education Association in the Organizational Development Division, Executive Office.
The Honorable Eric M. Davis has served on Caron’s Greater Philadelphia Regional Advisory Board since 2010 and was appointed to Vice Chair in 2020. A 2006 Caron alum, he has consistently supported Caron as a donor, volunteer, and ambassador. He facilitates introductions and speaking opportunities at a wide variety of organizations, such as the Delaware Lawyer Assistance Program (De-Lap), Delaware Council on Gaming Problems, and the Wilmington Rotary. He also served as chair of the TRIAD board until 2020 when TRIAD transitioned into Limen Recovery + Wellness. He now serves as a board member for Limen.
Davis has served as Judge of the Superior Court of the State of Delaware since 2012, with an appointment until 2024. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law. Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court, he was a Judge on the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware from 2010-2012, and a partner in Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
